Gary’s career spans over 30 years from a start as a Graduate Engineer with British Coal, followed by FMCG operations (Fast Moving Consumer Goods) with companies such as British Sugar, Allied Bakeries and PepsiCo. Gary has extensive experience of manufacturing and logistics management, leading large teams in driving operational performance excellence in demanding, high volume environments. He also has deep experience of business relocation programmes involving large numbers of people and equipment, carrying out complex operational processes.

A key member of the Axentia Biotech team, Gary has spent several years programme managing the relocation and start-up of laboratory operations in the forensic science sector. This involves not only the detailed planning and execution of all aspects of the move programme, it also requires absolute compliance to regulatory requirements and process re-accreditation.

Gary is also adept at engaging clients’ key end users in the laboratory design process, ensuring all technical, operational and ergonomic elements are taken into account when designing cutting-edge labs for optimal efficiency.
