The Organisation

Northampton Students Union – a registered charity independent from the University of Northampton

Critical Business Issues

The Student Union was experiencing financial and organisational challenges exacerbated by Covid -19 and was under new leadership. The new Leadership required support and recommendations to take the Union forward.

The Approach

The project was delivered in three stages:

  1. Reviewing the current plans and aspirations,
  2. Build scenarios and strategy for growth
  3. Support in executing the plans, including mentoring support for the team

 

The Axentia team ensured there was continuous communication and collaboration with the senior team at NSU. The output was delivered by way of a detailed recommendations report

Business Results

  • We provided recommendations to provide a more diversified proposition to realise/access alternative funding streams.
  • We ensured the securing of ongoing support to provide guidance, challenge and support in growing the Union’s commercial arm, particularly in relation to the Night Club, Shops and Cafe.
