What makes us different?
Most laboratory and healthcare builds pass through several separate contracts and several separate points of accountability before anyone signs off on the finished building. Axentia manages the whole facility, from the first feasibility conversation to accreditation and handover, as one team, under a single point of accountability, whichever delivery model fits your project.
That single point of accountability sits alongside a specific kind of expertise: our leadership team’s background in building and expanding complex, heavily serviced facilities, combined with a Technical Project Manager who has spent over a decade working inside biotechnology laboratories. The result is a team that can translate highly technical, regulated requirements into a building that works from day one.

Feasibility and business case; scope, budget, timeline and regulatory assessment agreed and signed off before design starts.

Detailed, innovation-led design built around end-user requirements, statutory compliance and sustainability.

Tender, contractor appointment, construction and fit-out managed under cost control and quality assurance.

Equipment and staff transfer, validation of methods, and ISO or governing-body accreditation through to handover.

Axentia programme-manages your facility from feasibility to accreditation. Underneath that programme, two delivery models decide who holds and manages the construction packages, and on projects under £500,000, Axentia can act as Principal Contractor itself.

The Client contracts the design team, Axentia and the principal contractor. Axentia sets the brief and budget and coordinates delivery end-to-end.
